A little study I did a couple years back. Trying to get a feel for this character; in a way to understand him. It's also an exercise in three dimensional composition. Classically we see composition on a 2 dimensional surface, where the shapes and bodies tend to interact with each other in a 2 dimensional manner....typically up down or left to right, but hardly forth and back. A few newer generation artists flirt with the idea, but generally sacrificing the up down, left and right concept. It's an intriguing concept which I hope to explore a bit more in the future.
