Piece from a few years back. Tried to make a big push to get a bit more natural feel to my pieces. To imply a more effortless line that the masters always seem to posses. After years of trying to prove to myself that I can draw, I am a bit ashamed that I can so well sometimes...often we stress skill over concept. Not denying the necessity of good draftsmanship...but sometimes we forget to let the piece become it's own entity. Denying the ultimate duty of art, which is progress.
