I had a life size banner of this piece as my main attraction at SDCC. This kid was walking by with his mom and saw it, then proceeds to ask his mom repeatedly. Mommy how does she ride the rocket?
Hey Bill, I'll print up a new batch of these in the next couple weeks. They are $35 shipped. THe Bobby piece is currently in production to make it on a shirt. I'll post it up once I complete it.
should have asked before, but what paper and/or canvas did you use? the reason i,m asking is i like that look and i have been contemplating starting to paint.so any pointers you have i would greatly appreciate. thanks again
Lately I've been using Rives BFK a lot. Seems to be able to handle different media well. I'd recommend get some watercolor and start playing with that and build from there with Acrylics. The key to watercolor is controlling the wet stage of the color. Wet on wet allows you to blend colors easy. Wet on wet is dampening the paper before you apply color. Hope that helps...mostly have fun and don't try too hard.
